You will support the Store manager in managing the sales generation and operational and human resource functions to ensure an excellent in store customer experience. You must have proven experience of managing a team and be able to demonstrate how you have developed and managed all performance related issues. You should be able to show how you have ensured operational effectiveness and maximized potential.
You will deputise for the Store Manager, issuing a clear handover in times of absence, acting as temporary point of contact for the District Manager and ensuring that the store has management consistency at all times. The store team will report directly to you when the Store Manager is unavailable. You will also support and aid your Store Manager in the commercial decision making process and in turn oversee decision implementation.
In smaller stores you will also take responsibility for a brand. In larger stores you will not have brand responsibility, rather allowing you the time to support the Store Manager in developing the rest of the team and take a greater interest in the commercial performance of the store.
